The Power in the Pause

Are you constantly searching for the next thing? The next title, relationship, or financial milestone? Do you wear the title “busy” as a badge of honour? I see you, and I have been there.

Today, I want to share a philosophy that came to me during my last decade of my own personal growth and development. I call it the Power in the Pause. In my story, I was constantly sprinting to the “next thing” until I hit a brick wall, which was my diagnosis of a brain tumour. That brick wall was the first time that I got knocked on my tail- it forced me to stop. It forced me to pause.

Up until that point, I thought that power only came from doing. After being forced to pause, I have realized that the power really is in the pause. When we create pauses in our life, we create space for magic to show up. Things that we are meant to hear can now show up because there is space in our life for them to come.

Fast forward to this past month where I was at an offsite with my team where the intention was to pause. Join me as I share the magic that showed up in that pause.
