How to Create a Thriving Organizational Design

In this episode, I talk about an aspect of business that’s essential to your long-term, sustainable success: organizational structure. I spend a lot of time working with founders on this topic. I find many come to me knowing that they need additional talent but without clarity on how those new hires fit into the puzzle of their organization.

I discuss why seeking clarity and being strategic is the best first step to take before creating an organizational structure. A strategic session might look like clarifying your vision, looking at your current reality (including what skill sets are missing on your team), understanding where you want to go, and considering who might be the best fit to support your goals. Once you’ve taken these steps, designing an organizational design follows naturally. Plus, I give tips on how to level and layer roles in a way that supports your long-term goals.
